Patented in 1980’s and registered by ETP Transmission AB Sweden, these keyless bushes remain the best hub-shaft connection, even after several decades.

ETP bushes consist of a thin walled cylinder filled by a 'medium'. When this medium is pressurised, they tend to expand the thin walled cylinders and grip both the shaft and the component at the same time.

Installation

Inserting the ETP Bush into the product and mounted on the shaft, the screws are tightened.  This tightening increases the pressure on the medium which exerts pressure on the walls and grip the shaft and the component simultaneously.

Available to suit shaft diameters from 15 to 220 mm, in various types.

Features

Quick mounting/dismantling
Easy and accurate positioning
Short lengths and outside diameters - making them compact
Good run out (both axial and radial)

ETP Express

Working to reduce the time to mount/dismantle, ETP then launched ETP Express – which needed only a single screw to tighten/release the component from the shaft.

ETP Express-R (in stainless steel) followed next.

ETP Classic

ETP Classic Bushes were the first to be introduced, followed by ETP Classic R (in stainless steel for food & chemical industries.

ETP Hyloc

ETP-HYLOC covers the high end of the range, suitable for shaft diameters from 50 to 300 (or more, as specials) where heavy axial loads are to be transmitted.

ETP Mini

To complete the range for smaller diameters, ETP Mini (for shaft diameters from 6 to 14mm) was launched.
